It is a special kind of temple custom, where the deity of goddess will be placed in this special arrangement, Jeevatha. Jeevatha along with 'chendamelam' (percussion) will visit every household, it is known as ‘parayeduppu’. After accepting the offer from her devotees, Jeevatha will perform a special kind of dance. The month of 'parayduppu' would commence by the end of November-March in this part.
