Jeevatha

A Ritualistic practice seen in Onnattukara(regions of Kayamkulam, Mavelikkara in Alappuzha district) were the goddess will visit each and every household accepting the offering.In return these 'Jeevatha' will play a ritualistic dance with the help of local percussion. There are different kinds of such 'Jeevathas' and it varies region and according to the goddess.
